gallery263 is a new community gallery inside the Robert & Elaine Stein Galleries at Wright State University. Its aim is to provide a venue for area artists to exhibit and promote their work. Although currently enrolled Wright State art students are given priority, any artist or curator/group is welcomed and encouraged to apply. All content and publicity are the sole responsibility of the exhibitor(s).
gallery263 exhibitions are autonomous from the Robert & Elaine Stein Galleries, but follow the same public business hours. Artists are responsible for all aspects of their exhibition, including transportation, installing and de-installation, publicity, and reception. Basic wall hanging hardware and tools will be provided.
Applications are accepted through the Stein Galleries' SlideRoom website, and as such, there is a $5 application fee.
All applications for gallery263 will be reviewed and considered in the order of submission according to the following factors:
• Student seniority within the Department of Art and Art History.
• Students with work not previously exhibited are given higher priority over those who have.
• WSU Art majors are given higher priority over non-majors.
• Alumni and community artists who have not previously exhibited on campus will be given priority over ones who have.
