Trucks: Paintings by Dan Rice

Trucks: Paintings by Dan Rice will be on exhibit in the Lower Gallery and will feature huge cut-outs of trucks and other forms of mobilization that take a humorous and often biting look at urbanization. The convoluted, twisted iconography that is contained within his truck imagery combine with the artist's rich colors to make Rice's works reminicent of medieval manuscript illuminations and church frescoes. Also reference to the last judgement theme, armageddon, and the airless labyrinths of the book of kelts are contained in his works.
