The Wright State University Art Galleries are presenting THE DEMOCRATIC PRINT, a national exhibition of contemporary relief printmaking. The exhibition will run from April 6 through May 11, 1997 in the Creative Arts Center on the main campus of Wright State University in Dayton. On Sunday, April 6, the Gallerks will host an opening reception from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.

THE DEMOCRATIC PRINT provides a comprehensive look at contemporary relief printmaking. The project is comprised of an exhibition of prints by 15 contemporary artists, a CD-ROM catalogue on a touch-screen monitor, and a historical survey of relief prints on loan from various Ohio museums, private collections, and the permanent collection of Wright State University.

Funding for THE DEMOCRATIC PRINT CD-ROM catalogue was provided by Culture Works, Dayton.
