Arabic Cooking Class

On January 28th, Arabic professor Amira Orr took her Arabic 1020 class to the Rockafield Alumni Center kitchen to teach her students about Middle Eastern food. They made Kofta (Middle Eastern meat balls), Hummus (chick peas dip), Lebna (cheese), salad, Taheena (sesame seed paste), Pita Bread and Green Mint Tea.
The food was delicious and everybody had a great time!
