Student Projects and Research

Master of Public Administration

Our M.P.A. program emphasizes a blend of both theoretical and applied, practical learning experiences. Students consistently tell us that their final, culminating course is one of the most enriching and rewarding learning experiences in the program.

M.P.A. students, along with their faculty mentors, collaborate with a wide variety of nonprofit and private sector organizations, and governments to analyze and propose potential solutions for significant challenges in our region and beyond.

Our M.P.A. students have served their communities and various organizations by addressing topics such as employment and job training; all levels of educational opportunities; business and economic development; urban living; housing and neighborhood development; reaching and serving at-risk populations—including homeless, low income, and mentally ill citizens; building code enforcement and abandoned properties; justice and law enforcement; public works; economic and business development; transportation; marketing and communications; best practices and process improvement; citizen engagement; and more.

Review a prior list of student projects to see how your organization or government can collaborate with our M.P.A. students and faculty.
