Minor in Political Science

On this page:

Why Choose Political Science?

Students in any other major benefit from a minor in political science. The minor is especially helpful if you are a journalism student, a business student interested in international business and finance, a student in education, or if you are pursuing a career where a basic understanding of political institutions and processes would strengthen other program interests. Completion of the approved minor is certified on your official transcript upon graduation.

Political science graduates go on to a wide variety of careers, including the law, campaign management and lobbying, in government agencies, as well as governmental and non-governmental organizations, non-profits, and the private sector.
