On Tuesday, February 23rd, Dr. Pascale Abadie’s French culture through social media class met with Jean-Francois Flechet, founder of the successful chain of Cincinnati restaurants: Tastes of Belgium. Over dinner, the students were able to interview Jean-Francois Flechet and learn more about how he flourished in a country much different from his own. The Belgian entrepreneur shared his love for his profession, his experiences and savoir-faire. Taking the study of French culture through social media out of the classroom was a memorable experience for the students and it added dimension and practice to what is being learned in class.
