On Friday, October 15th, the UCIE sponsored a Latin American Coffee Party where students had the opportunity to try Mexican hot chocolate, coffees from Costa Rica and Argentina, and mate, which is typical in South America. The students completed an activity in which they had to identify the many flags from all the Latin American nations and viewed a presentation to learn many interesting facts about the countries. The Department of Modern Languages is very proud of our Spanish students who won prizes for their knowledge about Latin America.
