The French club celebrated the Holiday season on Saturday November, 15 at Professor Daddah's house. Professors Daddah and Abadie cooked a traditional French meal with the students. The feast included some smoked salmon and foie gras (goose or duck liver) hors d'oeuvres, a pork roast with apples, a gratin dauphinois (a dish made with potatoes), green beans with toasted almonds and a chocolate bûche de Noël (a cake shaped like a Yule log) – miam! It was a great opportunity to speak French and enjoy some delicious French food.
