On December 2, 2016, French professors, Pascale Abadie and Karine Daddah took their French 2010 classes to the Senegalese restaurant Teranga in Cincinnati. Each student had to present a personal story using a personal object they brought to help illustrate it. The students did a presentation on Senegal and West African countries in class. The experience was great as it allowed students to leverage what they have learned in class and connect their knowledge to real life experience. Students enjoyed speaking French outside of the classroom while eating some delicious Senegalese food.
