The Arabic program will celebrate its first Immersion Day on Tuesday, March 24th from 8:30 am-1:30 pm. This year, the theme is “Visiting the Classical Arabic Past”. Activities will be centered around the “1001 Nights” and include plays presented by the students, explorations of Levantive Arabic culture, a calligraphy session, and hand painting with henna. Joshua Mabra, Assistant Professor of Arabic, will present a lecture on Islamic history. Join us for this culturally rich event in the Apollo Room of the Student Union.
