"Wright State and the Department of Sociology gave me the tools and knowledge to succeed in the fields of homeless care and drug rehabilitation. Hands-on experience and practical application of course materials have prepared me for success by helping me to create and realize social change in my community. Through my Sociology internship at Wright State, I was able to work closely with at-risk individuals to help them achieve their independence, and secure a brighter future for themselves and their families."
