Ryan Pignatiello graduated from Wright State University (WSU) with a 3.84 GPA in Crime and Justice Studies. While attending WSU, Ryan averaged 14 credit hours each semester, completed a Political Science minor and a Middle Eastern/Islamic Studies minor. He was also a member of WSU’s men’s soccer team and a first student-athlete appointed as a Student Trustee to WSU’s Board of Trustees for a term of two years 2015-2017. A local internship with the U.S. Marshals was a perfect match to his career goal of working in the federal law enforcement system. Ryan has accepted a position as a federal officer with the United States Capital Police in Washington D.C.
On a more personal level, Ryan calls Tipp City, Ohio home. In his spare time, he exercises regularly, and works as an USAV official.
Ryan's advice to future students is: "Do not be afraid to take chances and step out of your comfort zone, you never know what might happen or where life will take you." (Photo: Dr. Karen Lahm, CJS Director and Ryan.)
