Congratulations to Chris Vecchi, third year Master of Public Administration student, and recipient of the Ohio Chapter APWA (American Public Works Association) scholarship for 2014/15!

The highly competitive scholarship was offered to worthy individuals who were seeking a graduate degree in civil engineering or public administration. The committee sought successful applicants with demonstrated character, integrity, and leadership qualities, with an interest in public works.

Chris has undergraduate degrees from Sinclair Community College and Franklin University. He lives with his wife and three children in Springboro where he works as a lieutenant for the Clearcreek Fire District; he is also as an adjunct faculty member at Sinclair Community College, teaching EMS courses. His interest is in building inspection, code enforcement, and life safety system technology.

Way to go, Chris!
