Aubri Pritchett will be graduating in Spring 2020 with a Spanish and Biology double major. Aubri decided to continue studying Spanish after traveling to Costa Rica when she graduated high school. She believes it is very important to be globally competent and multilingual.

Additionally, Aubri has a desire to help the underserved in the Dayton community. During her time at Wright State, Aubri has volunteered as a classroom aid for the Spanish-speaking students at Ruskin Elementary School. She has also volunteered as a translator and phlebotomist at the Reach Out of Montgomery County free clinic. Furthermore, Aubri has been very involved on-campus at Wright State University. Aubri is the treasurer of Spanish Club and a member of the Executive Board for the Multicultural Association for Pre-Health Students. She also worked as a conversation partner with students in the LEAP program.

Aubri found her passion for traveling and love for other cultures during her time at Wright State as well. Aubri studied for a month in Valparaíso, Chile where she participated in a service learning program. Aubri volunteered over 90 hours in a free clinic and completed reflections comparing the health care systems in Chile and the United States. Additionally, she was able to interact with people in various communities in Chile to learn more about their ways of life.

Aubri plans to begin medical school after graduation to pursue her dreams of becoming a pediatric physician. Aubri was diagnosed with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis when she was a child, making her very passionate about helping other children with diseases. She wants all children to know that no obstacles should stop them from pursuing their dreams.
