Interim Director – Dr. Michael Norris

For 2013-2014, Dr. Michael Norris has been appointed as the Interim Director, Crime and Justice Studies Program. Dr. Norris is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology and has been at Wright State University since 2002. In November, 2013, he will be traveling as a guest of the Turkish National Police to present a paper, “Is There Any ‘There’ There? Evaluating A Juvenile Court Delinquency Prevention Program,” at the 5th Annual Symposium on Children at Risk and in Need of Protection, in Antalya, Turkey. Data for this study were collected from the Greene County Juvenile Court in Ohio and analyzed with coauthors Jackie Bergdahl from Sociology and Sarah Twill from Social Work. On a personal note, in December, Drs. Bergdahl and Norris will be working on their cabin in Silver City, New Mexico.
