Guest Artist Recital: Joshua Sevigny, tuba

Joshua Sevigny is one of the Midwest’s most active freelance tubists. He currently holds the principal positions with the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra, and the Lake County Symphony Orchestra. He has also performed with the Southwestern Suburban Symphony Orchestra, Present Music Milwaukee, the Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra, the Concord Chamber Orchestra, Northern Symphonic Winds, and is on numerous sub lists in both Wisconsin and Illinois. Joshua also performs with on tuba with a number of local jazz and rock groups in the Milwaukee area in addition to running a large, successful low brass studio. Joshua holds a Bachelor’s in Music Performance from the Crane School of Music and a Master’s in Music Performance from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee where he won the concerto competition. Joshua has placed in and won numerous national and international competitions. He is a low brass instructor on staff at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

All recitals and concerts are free and open to the public, except for the spring opera performance. Visitor parking areas on campus are free, and parking at the Creative Arts Center is unrestricted on weekends.
