About the Festival

The Wright State University School of Music will be hosting its third annual Fall Strings Festival for high school students in October 2022. This event will showcase the wealth of young performing talent in the Dayton area.

Students will gather for three days of coachings and rehearsals, and they will perform in an Honor Orchestra alongside WSU string majors. WSU String Faculty members will coach students in sectionals and masterclass and our guest conductor will conduct the Chamber Orchestra rehearsals and concert.
