The recital contains four works that Chris and I commissioned over the last 4 years from the wonderful composer Alyssa Morris.  She is widely considered, internationally, as the foremost active composer of double-reed music.  Several of her works have been performed both at WSU and in the local area.  She is faculty at Kansas State University.  Of interest, she was in the area, and we had a composer's master class with her on these 4 works at Wittenberg on April 10.

Four Premieres:

Mixed Signals for oboe and piano, Christopher Nilo, oboe, and Glenn Harman, piano.

Jerusalem Fantasy for two pianos, Amy Gray and Glenn Harman, pianos.

Lost and Found for English horn, bassoon, and piano,  Kathy DeGruchy, English horn, John DeGruchy, bassoon, and Glenn Harman, piano.

Puccini Fantasy for viola and piano, Kevin Nordstrom, viola, and Glenn Harman, piano.
