The Wright State University School of Fine and Performing Arts will be hosting its third annual Fall Strings Festival for high school students in October 2022. This event will showcase the wealth of young performing talent in the Dayton area.

Students will gather for three days of coachings and rehearsals, and they will perform in an Honor Orchestra alongside Wright State string majors. Wright State String Faculty members will coach students in sectionals and masterclass and our guest conductor will conduct the Chamber Orchestra rehearsals and concert.

We are excited to announce the guest conductor for the 2022 Fall Strings Festival will be Ann Smith. The recipient of the 2020 Wright State Alumni of The Year award, Smith teaches orchestra at Plano East Senior High School in Plano, Texas.
