French Instructor, Karine Daddah taught the first section of her FR 4940 “La cuisine dans le cinéma français” class last week. This course entails the analysis of four French movies, each highlighting the cultural, social, and historical importance of food in every facet of French life. Katie Luckenbill was awarded the Outstanding Student Award for the Master of Humanities Program in the College of Liberal Arts for 2015. Katie grew up in the Dayton area and earned her BA in Classical Humanities at Wright State University. She then pursued a Master of Humanities, again with a focus on Classics.
