The Department of Sociology/Anthropology would to take this opportunity to welcome four new faculty members that will become part of our family starting this Fall.                     Jessica Barnett (PhD University of Windsor 2014) is joining us as an Assistant Professor of Sexuality/Gender Studies.  She will be teaching for the Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies program as well as for the department.

The Ambassador trip to Munich, led by Dr. Sturdevant and Frau Powers, was a great success! 11 students enjoyed the sights, sounds and tastes of Germany from May 25 - June 10, 2015. Together, they took thousands of photos and enjoyed the sights of Bavaria, Germany and Salzburg, Austria.
