We are sad to have learned that Frank Dion, a good friend and generous benefactor of the Department of English, has died. Frank enjoyed auditing different sections of Great Books over the years and could always be counted on to raise the level of discussion and enjoyment. In 2010 he endowed the Kathleen Pfister Dion Scholarship, our most prestigious award, in honor of his late wife. Since then six Dion Scholars have been awarded the two-year scholarship. FRAMEWORK: Drawings and Prints of the CAC Construction will be on display September 1 through November 15, 2015 in the Robert & Elaine Stein Galleries. Professor Kim Vito's advanced drawing and relief printmaking classes spent last spring semester making drawings from observation at the Creative Arts Center construction site. Over 40 works on paper will be on display in the Corridor and Experimental Galleries. Works in the Experimental Gallery will be on display until September 13 only....
