  On Thursday October 5th, 2017, the Department of Modern Languages hosted its Fall Prospective and Current Majors and Minors Information session. Attendees had the opportunity to chat with all the language professors while enjoying drinks and delicious pastries. There were a language artifact treasure hunt, information sessions on Scholarships, Study Abroad opportunities, Student Sucess Center and Advising.

During the Spring semester of 2017, Spanish major Gabrielle Ritter stepped into not one, but three Spanish classrooms: Kindergarten, Younger Group (grades 1-3), and Older Group (grades 4-6).  Founded in 1921, the Antioch School (Yellow Springs, OH) is the oldest democratic school in the country. Students from Chinese 2210 joined the Asian and Native American Center to showcase their Chinese calligraphy during the 2017 Asian Heritage Month.  Congratulations to the students who participated in the art exhibition. It was a fantastic day for April Craze on Friday, April 21, 2017! The French Club booth had a yummy chocolate tasting ! April Craze continues the tradition of great local music, delicious food, inflatable games, and numerous student organization activities.
