Shane Moon was given the Master of Humanities Outstanding Graduate Student Award for the Graduate School in 2015 because of his impressive performance as a researcher and writer in our program. Shane’s thesis explores the moral sensibility of American author Cormac McCarthy’s novels. A graduate of Antioch University, Shane is an excellent and experienced writer of both fiction and non-fiction. For academic year 2014-2015, he served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in two Philosophy courses and helped to improve undergraduate student writing in those classes. He has been a significant asset to the MHUM program and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors!
