Please join us for a lecture and presentation by Dr. Issam Nassar, Department of History, Illinois State University. Examining photos of the failed Ottoman attempt to seize the Suez Canal in 1915, Dr. Nassar will discuss the Ottoman preparations for war and the role that photography played in the First World War.
