We are sad to have learned that Frank Dion, a good friend and generous benefactor of the Department of English, has died. Frank enjoyed auditing different sections of Great Books over the years and could always be counted on to raise the level of discussion and enjoyment. In 2010 he endowed the Kathleen Pfister Dion Scholarship, our most prestigious award, in honor of his late wife. Since then six Dion Scholars have been awarded the two-year scholarship.
