On September 26, 2014,  the Chinese club welcomed many new students and Chinese friends!  The club members celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival by eating traditional moon cakes and drinking Chinese tea.  The members also enjoyed playing the most popular Chinese recreational game, Mahjong!

On October 9th and 10th, MPA students traveled to Hamilton, Ohio to volunteer at CDP’s (Community Development Professionals) Non-Profit Conference. Along with volunteering, graduate assistants Ethan Harris and Hani Termanini were on hand distributing information about the Master of Public Administration and Wright State University’s College of Liberal Arts. The Visiting Writers Series is sponsored by the Department of English and the Creative Writing Program, and is made possible by the generous support of the Carol H. Cline Endowment. On Friday, October 10, several dozen French Club members gathered at the Rockafield Alumni Center to try their hand at cheese-making. Led by French Instructor Benjamin Hirt, the students learned how to make mozzarella cheese and caramel cream with Ben's own goat milk. A tasting followed allowing students, staff and visitors to try these products for the first time!
