On April 6, 2016, Arabic professor, Amira Orr and her Levantine class students took their oral exam in a real life situation at the Jordanian restaurant Pita Wrap. The topic of their oral exam was to order Jordanian food and drinks for lunch in Jordanian dialect, inquire about the ingredients, and ask for the check as well as chat with the owner Mohammad who is a native of Jordan. Students enjoyed this scenario and used their Arabic language outside of the classroom.

On April 6, 2016, students of the Ambassador program to Jordan met with Arabic professor, Amira Orr for their second meeting at the Jordanian restaurant "Pita Wrap" here in Dayton. The students were able to taste Amman flavors before departure to Jordan and chat with the owner of the restaurant, Mohamed, a Jordanian native. Students were excited to ask him questions about the sites they are going to visit and the Jordanian culture.
