On April 15, 2016, French instructor, Karine Daddah took her French 2020 class to the Lebanese restaurant Cedar Land. Each student had to present a personal story using a personal object they brought to help illustrate it. The students did a presentation on Lebanon and other Middle Eastner countries in class. It was a fantastic day for April Craze on Friday, April 15, 2016! The Arabic Club had a "Learn a letter" booth, and the French Club had a chocolate tasting. April Craze continues the tradition of great local music, delicious food, inflatable games, and numerous student organization activities.

On Friday April 15, 2016, French student and Haiti native, Valery Darcisse took the French club attendees to a virtual trip to Haiti. They familiarized themselves with the history, geography, culture, population, food and politics of this beautiful country. It was a very interesting and fun presentation!

As part of a serving learning project, French professors Daddah and Hirt took their French conversation students to the French 1010, 1020, 2010 and 2020 classes the first two weeks of April to promote the French language.
