On November 18, 2021, Professor Daddah and her French Business class students traveled to Cincinnati to visit Safran, a French company, which is both a GE partner and one of its suppliers. Safran designs, develops, produces and markets engines for civil and military aircraft in partnership with GE. On November 4, 2021 the French Business class students visited Dorothy Lane Market, located in Centerville. They met with Calvin Mayne, owner of Dorothy Lane Market. The visit included a tour in French of the supermarket, delivered by Calvin Mayne. The students enjoyed the visit while discussing the company’s marketing approach. The visit ended with a typical French lunch.
