Study Abroad

Want to travel in a foreign country and learn first-hand about how peoples in other parts of the world live, while taking college classes? Study abroad is an excellent opportunity for you to pursue your education outside the Wright State classroom. As a religion, philosophy, or classics student, you should explore the different study abroad opportunities available to you through the university.

Study abroad offers you the unique experience of observing and participating in your target culture or cultures firsthand, while earning academic credit hours to complete your degree. Past majors have participated in study abroad programs in diverse countries, including India, Thailand, China, Korea, Greece, and several European countries.

Wright State offers three types of study abroad programs: Ambassador Programs, Exchange Programs, and Third Party Provider Programs. These programs can be one of the most cost effective ways to travel the world, and your financial aid can be applied toward the cost of these programs.

You can learn more about these programs and the exciting opportunities they provide for international education, at Wright State’s University Center for International Education.
