Sterling Rutledge

African & African American Studies

Dayton native Sterling Rutledge arrived at Wright State as a first-year student in Fall 2015. Majoring in African-American Studies, with minors in History and Political Science, he completed his degree in just four years. After graduating with his B.A., he plans on remaining in the city of his birth to serve his community and pave a brighter future for Ohio’s African Americans, who are still facing day-to-day obstacles.
