Biography:
Shelley Fisher, Miami County resident, and first-generation college graduate believes it is never too late to pursue your dreams. Her love of writing, photography, and visual communication led her to pursue a Media Studies BA with a minor in Communication Studies. Shelley completed an internship with the Miami Valley Veterans Museum, utilizing her skills to work on the set of Valley Veterans, a television show that showcases local veterans, as well as filming her own documentary Operation Babylift. Although Shelley has always possessed a strong work ethic, her professors have challenged her to grow personally and professionally through unwavering support and their desire to see their students succeed. Shelley considers herself a life-long learner with wide-ranging passions from research to true crime and plans to flex her creativity by working in the field of writing and visual arts.
