Shelby Frideger

Recognition Year:

Shelby Frideger transferred to Wright State from Edison and then Ohio State. She took courses in a number of areas before chancing upon Anthropology and clearly finding her passion. She has taken most of the courses the department has to offer, including an exciting summer spent excavating in the Field School. In the fall, she will be starting graduate school at Ball State University in the Department of Anthropology, where she has secured a graduate assistantship. Shelby is particularly interested in the historical archaeology of race and gender. Congratulations, Shelby.
