Her generous establishment of two endowments has helped many students earn their English degrees and enjoy British literature through the university library. Ms. McGinley is a valued member of the department who mentors adjuncts, provides guest lectures for graduate courses, and participates in professional development events. She has served on several departmental and university committees and is actively involved with the AAUP, gracefully carrying the burden of representing her colleagues.
