About

Megan Henry

Megan Henry is a Senior History major here at Wright State with a minor in French. She is passionate about French history as well as the socio-historical aspects of WWII. She is currently writing her Senior Thesis on how Joan of Arc was used as a tool of propaganda by both the Free French and Vichy France during WWII. She is also very interested in Jewish history--specifically the Holocaust and how anti-Semitism led to the development of Zionism and the State of Israel. She works at the Wright State Writing Center and loves using her passion for writing to help others. After graduation, Megan hopes to go to graduate school for Public History so that she can make use of her dual passions for historical preservation and making history more accessible to the public. Outside of school Megan enjoys playing her Nintendo Switch, reading, and writing for fun. Megan joined DSAB in order to help other students find their place in the College of Liberal Arts and at Wright State in general in the same way that she was able to find her place.
