Makenzie Hoeferlin

Leadership Scholarship Recipient
Makenzie Hoeferlin is going into her third year at Wright State as a media studies student minoring in marketing. She is a graduate of Bethel High School and is involved on campus at The Wright State Guardian Media Group, where she has been an editor since May of 2020. Her responsibilities include leading a group of 40+ students in dozens of different projects that ultimately contribute to providing important news to the campus community through the online newspaper. Outside of Wright State, Makenzie enjoys writing for Dayton Daily News and finding new ways to improve the Guardian + teach other students. Makenzie will continue to hold the Editor position at the Guardian until her expected graduation in May of 2023.
