2020-21

Joe Connelly began his history studies at the University of Cincinnati prior to joining the military in 2003. He spent 12 years in the Marine Corps and went on two deployments to Iraq, as well as leading NATO training exercises in the Balkans. He was eventually medically retired from the service and decided to return to school. He eagerly resumed his academic career at Wright State just a couple years ago and is now excited to move on to graduate work. When not studying history, Joe is the head coach at the largest high school rowing club in the area and is also one of the Midwest Regional Olympic Development Coaches.
