About

Arliss Perry (2022)

Outstanding Adjunct Award
Recognition Year:
2022

Arliss Perry taught physical geography at Wright State for more than 30 years.

Students among the more than 1,000 he has taught describe Professor Perry as “an amazing person,” and “a really good guy cares about each one of his students very much and shows it.” Students remark that his classes were difficult, but he presented information as clearly as possible and was always extremely helpful. Professor Perry, whose full-time job is as a senior intelligence analyst and senior engineer at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, demonstrated his dedication to student success by making every effort to convey the information in a different manner if needed. Professor Perry has retired from teaching and taught his last class for Wright State in Spring 2022.
