Amy Neace daily demonstrates her responsibility, commitment, and dedication to serving the multi-faceted and complex needs of the faculty and students of the School of Music. Ms. Neace is meticulous, cordial, and collegial. She maintains the School of Music performance calendar, the program’s website, and is responsible for room scheduling for classes, rehearsals, lectures, and sectionals. From scheduling prospective students’ auditions and tracking scholarship offers to the scheduling of performance halls for their final recital, she is a crucial part of students’ success. She is responsible for scheduling and publicizing performances by more than 10 choral and instrumental large ensembles, multiple smaller ensembles and chamber groups, all large ensemble concerts, and guest artist appearances. She ensures these events are publicized on the school’s website, university calendar, and social media. Ms. Neace is also responsible for compiling, editing, and seeing to the printing of the programs for all these performances – an important part of the School of Music’s public face requiring exemplary attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines.
