Study Abroad Scholarship Recipient
Adrienne Freccero is a second-year student at Wright State. This summer, she plans to participate in an eight-week language immersion internship in Seville, Spain. She will earn six academic credit hours and a priceless experience abroad. Adrienne plans to live with a Spanish host family and engage in volunteer work for local organizations during her free time in Seville. Adrienne studies nursing with a declared minor in Spanish, but she also enjoys spending time reading about international affairs and learning languages on Duolingo. She is passionate about the field of public health and regularly attends meetings and community events hosted by the Spanish Club. In the future, Adrienne hopes to apply her knowledge of Spanish and nursing to work with Hispanic communities around Dayton and/or abroad.
