On Friday, November 9, 2018, the Department of Modern Languages held the Fall semester meeting for prospective and current majors and minors. The students learned about the Study Abroad programs in China, Mexico, France, Germany and Puerto Rico. In addition, students were given tips about those programs by the UCIE staff. The students met with the Faculty while enjoying some pizza, pop corn and drinks. It was an enlightening afternoon with the Department of Modern Languages. Click here to view...

The Veteran and Military Center is collaborating with the Dayton Area Red Cross to collect coffee to support veterans and active duty service members at the Dayton VA, Wright-Patt Medical Center and Wright State.

Denis Barry, a senior Geography major, won first prize for his poster at the 2018 East Lakes Division of the American Association of Geographers (AAG) Annual Meeting held at Ohio Northern University this past weekend. The honor came with a $100 cash prize. In addition, faculty from Ohio State University, Central Michigan University, and Western Michigan University (among other schools) all worked to recruit him about their funded master’s degree programs in geography.     Photos: Denis with...
