About

Victoria Coleman

Social Work
Recognition Year:
2019-20

A Dayton native and first-generation college student, Victoria Coleman chose Wright State because it was close to home and says her time at Wright State has transformed her, particularly the appreciation of diverse perspectives that she has developed her time in the Social Work program. She is president of Social Work Club, a member of the COLA Dean's Student Advisory Board, Philanthropy Director of The '67 Society, and a student employee at the Office of Annual Giving. She plans to continue to work at Daybreak, and to focus on work with youth experiencing homelessness once she completes her degree and earns her Social Work license. Victoria credits her professors, cohort, Social Work Club, and family for being there to push her, encourage her, and support her during her undergraduate experience.
