Biography:
Nick Higgins graduated from Miami University (Ohio) in 2015, with a degree in Philosophy and Eurasian Studies. He completed an M.A. in Eurasian Studies from the University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign in 2017, shortly before he joined the International and Comparative Politics program at Wright State. Nick has continued developing his expertise in Russian Studies, particularly the Crimean region. In December 2019, he defended his thesis, “The Homeward Bound-ness of Crimean Tatars: A Clash of National Identity, the State, and the Crimean Peninsula.”
