Madeline Stewart is a Geography student at Wright State University pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree. Born and raised in the Dayton, Ohio area, Madeline first became interested in GIS and Geography when she attended the Miami Valley Career Technology Center in high school. From there, Madeline went straight to the workforce as a Geospatial Technician. She has worked in the field of Geospatial Technology for 6 years now. While working full-time, she also received her Associate's degree in GIS at Clark State Community College, before transferring to Wright State University to pursue her Bachelor’s degree. She is very thankful to have the opportunity to pursue higher education and feels that her schooling has helped her tremendously in her career. “I am so appreciative of all the professors I have had at Wright State. They are always willing to work with me while I am balancing both school and work, which can get crazy at times, but they always encourage me, and I can’t thank them enough!”
