Biography:
Study Abroad Scholarship Recipient
Lina Lin is a junior management information systems and Spanish major and a Chinese minor. After growing up in Brazil and Spain, Lina is very excited for the opportunity to travel back to Spain for her study abroad trip. She will be heading to Alicante, Spain through the University Study Abroad Consortium to take gender studies courses. While she has a fair grasp of Spanish, she is looking forward to benefiting from the skills that she can only learn by immersing herself in the language: working on her accent, reinforcing grammar, and polishing her written Spanish. She hopes to return capable of building women’s empowerment for women around the globe.
