She is completing a double major in Political Science and Classical Languages and Cultures. She has both maintained a strong academic record and pursued many volunteer and leadership activities across the campus She currently serves as the Director of Academic Affairs in the Student Government Association (SGA).  She is a founding member of the Student Veterans Association, is the President of the Classics Club, a member of the Eta Sigma Phi honorary society, and has served in other positions during her tenure. After graduation, she and her family are moving to Washington D.C., where she plans to return to government service in the Intelligence Community and pursue a Ph.D. in Political Science.  Krista has attributed much of her success to the constant support of faculty members who both mentored and challenged her through numerous opportunities to grow as a student, researcher, and leader.
