Amy Brickey

While earning a master’s degree in Public History at Wright State, Amy Brickey has had the opportunity to work with many public history professionals in the field and on campus. For her excellence as a student she was awarded two scholarships: the 2018 Society of Ohio Archivists Scholarship and the 2018 Waymon Underwood, ARMA Public History Scholarship. Amy has maintained an internship at the Greene County Records Center and Archives for most of her graduate career. Her capstone project with the Ohio Historic Records Advisory Board (OHRAB) surveyed and recorded manumission records, emancipation records, and freedom papers for free people of color in five southwestern Ohio counties between 1803–1863.
