  Dr.Yuliya Walsh, adjunct teacher of Russian in the department of Modern Languages received her Ph.D. in Slavic Linguistics from the Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Culture from the Ohio State University on April 3, 2014.   The title of her dissertation is: "Forms of Address in Contemporary Ukrainian Newspapers. Morphology, Gender and Pragmatics."    The ceremony took place on May 4,2014 at the Ohio State Stadium in Columbus, OH.

Dominick Evans, 33, will be the first graduate of Wright State’s motion pictures production program with a significant physical disability. Evans has spinal muscular atrophy, a genetic disorder that results in general muscle wasting and mobility impairment. At 16, he was no longer able to walk.
